Laminated Shims
Shims processed from laminated shim stock have the advantage of peel-ability: the thickness of the shim can be adjusted on-the-spot by peeling one foil layer at a time.
Laminated shims provide fast and precise shimming, they reduce inventory, and they eliminate the possibility of contamination between layers of loose-stacked shims.

Shims may be fully laminated, partially solid, any thickness, punch pressed, routered, water-jet cut or machined.
Laminated Shims are manufactured to numerous specifications, or are made according to a specific drawing or print. They can be simple rectangles, or very complex configurations. Some of the more common Aerospace and Industrial laminated shim specifications include:
